Activities Include:
- Haunted House – ages 6 and up, strobe lights in use (Lodge at Moose Lake),
- Spooky Graveyard – (near Tapir yard),
- Trick-or-treat at Spooky Treat Stations – (throughout the Boo at the Zoo path),
- Lighted Pumpkins – (located in My Big Backyard)
- Pirate’s Cove – (inside Australia Walkabout),
- NEW Costume Contest – Take a picture at Boo at the Zoo and post your pictures on Facebook or Instagram using #BooCMZoo for a chance to win tickets to Electric Safari,
- Sky Ride – $3 per ride (be in line by 7:30 p.m.),
- Carousel – $2 per person, per ride,
- Giraffe feeding – $3 per lettuce bundle, or $5 two,
- Budgie feeding – $1 per seed stick.
Select animal exhibits are open, including
– African Rift Valley – feed the giraffe inside the giraffe building
– African lions – in the relaxation room
– Australia Walkabout – wallaby building, Pirate’s Cove and feed the budgies
– Encounter Africa – elephants & rhino inside their barn
– Experiences in The Loft – indoor smaller animal opportunities
– Goat Experience – domestic goats up-close
– My Big Backyard – outdoor smaller animal opportuniites
– Scutes Family Gallery – reptiles and sloths
– Water’s Edge: Africa – hippos & penguins (NOTE: Penguins close at dusk to promote healthy breeding cycles.)
– Primate World is closed – (Our primates are sensitive to evening events.)

Costume Requirements
For the safety of all guests, costume masks and costume weapons may not be worn by guests 12 years of age or older. Masks worn by guests 11 years of age and younger must have openings that allow the eyes to be seen and that do not obstruct peripheral vision. Balloons are not allowed inside the Zoo (even as part of a costume) for the safety of our animals and wild animals. Guests are encouraged to join our Costume Contest, but please ensure your costume follows these guidelines.
